- 4-5 medium Apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
- 1 tbsp pure Maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Almond flour
- 1/4 cup Rolled Oats (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Almonds, chopped
- 1 tbsp Honey (optional, for drizzling)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and pure maple syrup. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
- Transfer the apple mixture to the greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix almond flour, rolled oats, and melted coconut oil or butter until it forms a crumbly topping.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown, and the apples are tender.
- Optionally, drizzle the warm apple crisp with honey before serving.
