Ingredients

  • 4-5 medium Apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
  • 1 tbsp pure Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Almond flour
  • 1/4 cup Rolled Oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Almonds, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and pure maple syrup. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to the greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix almond flour, rolled oats, and melted coconut oil or butter until it forms a crumbly topping.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown, and the apples are tender.
  7. Optionally, drizzle the warm apple crisp with honey before serving.
